Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on 19 November 1972 in London. Her birthplace was in London to her Chinese mother and French father. At the age of five, her family moved from the Chinese region to Canada. She began as a Paris catwalk model before opting to become an actress. In 1991's Black Robe, she made her debut in film as Annuka. This role was recognized with an award called the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar.
